Physical Description: 6ft2 Caucasian male of medium build. Ash has dark brown hair, brown eyes and a noticeable chin. There are a few small scars on his face and the most distinctive feature Ash has is his metal hand that he forged himself out of an armored glove. Ash usually wears modern day slacks, shirts, boots and likes the colour blue.

Personality: Ash is essentially an Average Joe who tends to be very cocky. Before encountering deadites Ash was a normal friendly guy but his experience with the supernatural and time travel have hardened him. Ash is cynical and hides behind sarcasm while having little empathy for the people he encounters. He is intelligent but a very poor planner who has trouble following directions. While he can get his ass in gear and play the hero, it is a role Ash takes on reluctantly. He’d rather be plopped down on a sunny beach in the Caribbean rather than fighting off the undead any day.

Strong points/Skills: Ash has an engineering degree and knows how to create make-shift weapons. In the past he has made a replacement hand, remaking his car to be a deathmachine, and even knows how to make gun powder. Yes indeed, Ash is very handy. He also knows how to use a 12 Gauge Remington Sawed-Off Shotgun, chainsaw, other shotguns, handguns, and anything sharp to defend himself and he has some fighting ability.

Weaknesses: Ash is not a planner, he is a live in the moment kinda guy, making up his own rules as he goes along. He has a poor memory and tends to forget things like instructions, magical words, women’s names….. Ash’s big mouth is also a major weakness as he will usually either piss someone off or make promises he can’t keep or tell people the truth about his life which will make them think he is crazy. Finally, Ash is human and can be killed/hurt pretty easily.

Biography: Ash had a dream life. A good job, a beautiful girl friend and an employee discount at S-Mart. Life couldn’t get any better. In fact, life was so good that Ash and his girlfriend Linda decided to have a romantic getaway a cabin in the woods.

Turns out, that was a big mistake. In the cabin Ash discovered a tape of an archeology professor (the cabin's previous inhabitant), reciting passages from the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis and decided to play it. As a result an evil force was unleashed and it possessed Linda. In order to save his own life, Ash was force to kill Linda but was further terrorized by the evil force, even being possessed himself until sunrise. Then Ash encounters Linda again who is reanimated and attacks him, biting his hand. Ash kills her with a chainsaw before using it to lop off his own infected hand. Then the yokels Annie, Ed, Jake, and Bobby Joe show up and believe that Ash has killed the archeology professor. They lock him in the cellar were he has to deal with Henrietta, the archeologist’s wife who was also possessed. Eventually they let him out and they all try to fight for their survival. Ash is the only one who succeeds.

For his troubles he is sucked into a vortex which dumps him Medieval England. Once there he is captured, forced to fight another deadite and is told that the only way to get back home is in the Necronomicon. Of course he fucks it up and ends up raising an army of the dead. To make up from his screw up and save Shelia, Ash leads an army of humans to fight the deadites. They succeed and Ash takes a potion to allow him to travel back home but instead ends up in Oscura.
